Dumb jocks, ditzy sorority girls, foreign nerds, and tree-hugging liberals; we exist on college campuses nation wide. Whether you party more than you study, or protest more than you shoot hoops, we all have something in common; we are constantly learning things we didn't know we wanted to know. Throughout this blog, we will be exploring the areas of natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences that are present in our world today. We will inform fellow students by offering four different perspectives based on college stereotypes, while still providing a sense of humor.
We would like to point out that our stereotypes are purely humorous and are not meant to be offensive.

Hi ladies (and other welcomed readers)! My name is Suzie and I am a Zeta Chi Omega sorority sister (“only the finest are crowned”)! I absolutely love my sisters and cannot envision my life without them! If you are reading this blog, hopefully you are interested in the science and humanity current events that are presenting themselves in today’s society, or just looking for something new to learn! These are topics that veer from the usual subjects I pride myself in learning; such as fashionable Ray-Ban sunglasses and the hottest cowgirl boots that are in this season. However, I am here to enlighten you on these science topics in an informative, yet interesting to fellow sorority girls of all kinds, way. After all, as my fellow sisters understand, we are not just a bunch of party animals. We work tremendously hard to balance high GPA's and friendships, with a fun social life, as well as striving to meet our sorority's philanthropic pursuits. So believe it or not, we do enjoy challenging ourselves, learning new things, broadening our horizons, and hopefully this blog will help you do the same!

Hello all, my name is Autumn and I’m a “tree-hugging” liberal from San Francisco, California. You can find me on campus wearing Birkenstocks, tie-dyed clothing, and anything made from hemp. I believe in the rights of all people, animals, and taking care of our Mother Earth. I practice these beliefs by being an active member of UNC's College Libertarians, consuming a vegan diet, and recycling and conserving energy as much as possible. The subjects of natural science, social science, and the humanities can be used by us all to better our world; well, all except conservatives. Throughout this blog, I will explore these subjects and share my liberal views. What other perspectives are there besides liberal anyway? I hope that you will be able to discover new interests and learn about them from other perspectives as well.

My name is Tyler Johnson and I’m what you call an all American. I play soccer, basketball, hockey and lacrosse and am the star on… well say about 4. I’m really good at most everything but I specialize in the bench press, barbell curls, cable crossovers, dips, hammer grip incline presses, straight arm pull downs, front deltoid plate rises, and of course women. I’ve always been that guy in school who is picked first in PE class and whose jokes make everyone laugh. I grew up in a small town and everyone counted on me to bring fame to our little school; I think 3 state championships was sufficient. However on my rare free time, I like to surf the internet and learn out about things I didn’t know; not only are facts good to know, but they also work great as conversation starters for the ladies.

My name is Kevin Zhang, a foreign student from Chengdu, China - a city with population of 6 million. I currently study at UNC, double majoring in finance and math. I have great passion and curiosity towards the unknown and unfamiliar world. That is the key motivation of my coming to America. Prior to my enrollment at UNC, I've been successfully recognized with my global perspectives and wide knowledge-base. I can say “I don’t think he is Chinese, I think he is Korean”, and be right about it. I play piano, violin, and saxophone. I am good at any form of math and science, and my GPA is, of course, 4.0. In the meantime however, there are many things I do not know. For example, I don’t know Chinese Kung fu and I don’t know the population of Trinidad or Tobago. With the intention to broaden my horizons and to view the world from various angles, I seek to continue my passion and curiosity by exploring interesting topics in various fields, such as natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, that I never thought about learning before. I have a goal: if there will ever be an SAT for every existing subject in this world, I want to get 800 on each and every single one of them.
